Accounts and Administration Assistant
We are looking for someone with numeracy and some accounts experience to join this busy admin & finance team within a growing SME
Ideal hours are 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday OR 9am - 3pm Monday - Friday
This is a Temporary to Permanent role so interested candidates need to be available at fairly short notice to start. Its anticipated you will be Temping for 3 - 6 months whilst the role fully develops as its brand new. Duties will include:
- Checking and processing Purchase Ledger invoices onto the accounts system
- Checking invoices and GRNs against actual stock levels (both UK and international)
- Processing employee expenses
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Gaining copy invoices and following up on discrepancies
- Assisting with administration which could include booking travel, purchasing supplies, taking up references, logging IT hardware and software
We are looking for someone with previous finance experience ie sales or purchase ledger but with a really flexible attitude as you could be asked to help out on projects in any department of the company. You need to be self confident, an easy going team person, quick to learn and actually just keen to get a range of experience from you role. You must have intermediate Word & Excel. If the role is offered permanently at the end of the Temporary period, the salarty offered will be in the range of £18 - 22K per annum (pro rata for part time hours)
