Administrator - Groups

Another brand new role based within a long standing WendyB client (they are looking for 2 hires so you'll note another job advert that looks almost the same as this).

This is a 'Not for Profit' membership organisation who provide a range of professional business services to their commercial client base.  This includes delivery of  legal, training and conference services, specialist forums and member networking events throughout the UK and Europe. This is a small team of 6 who are expanding to 8, the company is well established and well regarded in their professional sector. There is scope for personal development and a wider involvement in company activities but being a small group, this company wouldnt suit someone looking for a rapid rise to the stars. However if you are looking for an honest, friendly and creative team where you can settle in and enjoy an interesting role surrounded by supportive and motivated colleagues this could be absolutely the perfect spot for you!

Hours of work are 8.30 - 5pm Monday to Thursday with 4.30pm finish Friday.  We can consider candidates looking to work 3 - 5 days per week (unfortunately we can't accommodate daily school hours) so this will be of interest to candidates looking for full or part time employment.

This is a general administrative role that brings you into daily contact with the membership and service providers on the phone, via email and ocassionally at events, this will suit someone with a naturally friendly and outgoing personality. It will also suit someone who has good writing skills as you may be asked to create posts for social media, website or write up content on forthcoming events and conferences for email campaigns and newsletters.

  • Provide assistance and undertake general administrative duties including researching venues, drafting agendas and minutes, organising mailings, packing materials, processing invoices, monitoring and taking actions on emails/enquires
  • General communication and understanding of the Members
  • Attend events as and when required (only a few per year)
  • Monitor and action emails for self and colleagues
  • Ensure compliance with the Group’s organisational policies (including Code of Conduct, Health and Safety and the General Data Protection Regulations)
  • Support colleagues at the Centre as required

We are looking for candidates with existing office administration experience and a confidence using MS Word, Excel, databases and ideally with some social media knowledge ie LinkedIn or Facebook.

Please remember this is a Temp to Perm opportunity so you will be on the WendyB payroll for a few weeks initially as a Temporary Worker.

** Please only apply if you can work 3, 4 or 5 full days per week**
