Brand Manager (Maternity Cover) - Luxury Beauty - 12 months

Based in Weybridge

Salary circa £40k

An exciting opportunity has arisen with our client for an experienced and driven Brand Manager to join their team. In this role you’ll be responsible for developing the profitability of multiple luxury brands in the UK market. To be successful in this role you’ll need to have strong commercial acumen, experience working with luxury brands in beauty, fashion, fragrance or cosmetics and have plenty of experience in online / digital marketing.

Responsibilities include:

  • Plan and implement current and future operational marketing plans in accordance with agreed budgets, and guidelines from the brand(s).
  • Develop ideas and work with the sales force to ensure the brand(s) maximise potential in all stores.
  • Build relationships with brand(s) and report on a monthly basis.
  • Plan and monitor the A&P spend on the brand(s) to maximise profitability.
  • Define the media strategy, brief agencies, and follow up the implementation.
  • Manage and maintain stock levels at an appropriate level.
  • Present marketing programme and provide the sales force with all appropriate tools to sell to the retailers.
  • Liaise and attend meetings with the brand(s) and other company functions necessary to perform duties.
  • Manage external agency activities. (Design, printing etc).
  • Understand retail and consumer environment.

Candidate requirements:

  • To be considered for this role candidates must have luxury product experience in a similar role in one of the following areas: cosmetics / fragrance / beauty / fashion / skin or body care
  • Previous experience in a Brand Manager role with digital and online marketing experience
  • Commercially minded with an awareness of retailers
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Creative thinker
  • Highly motivated and able to work autonomously
