Hybrid working offered, offices nr Farnborough.

Salary up to £50k pa

We’re looking for a confident, commercially aware and knowledgeable individual with a background in HR to join this busy team. The successful individual will be CIPD qualified (L7 ideally), with demonstrable experience of advising and managing a range of employee relations cases, including disciplinaries / grievances, reorganisations etc.

Key responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain an efficient HR structure including recruitment, onboarding, employee files, headcount and salary data, benchmarking, holiday/sickness/maternity reporting, payroll collation, training, appraisal structures.
  • Provide expert and commercial HR advice to senior managers on a variety of HR issues, assessing requirements and identifying solutions (such as contracts of employment, onboarding processes, system requirements, sickness absence, disciplinary, grievance, appeals, termination, redundancy, pay and benefits, performance management etc).
  • Prepare, maintain and update HR documentation (contracts of employment, policy & procedure, probationary review letters, etc.) to ensure accuracy and legal compliance
  • Provide advice on a range of HR matters including disciplinaries /grievances, redundancy, termination of employment, right to work queries, absence / sickness, maternity / paternity queries, etc.
  • Conduct investigations and recommend appropriate actions
  • Stay up-to-date with HR trends and legislation to ensure compliance
  • Lead and participate in HR projects as assigned

Experience:

  • CIPD qualified to L7 or equivalent
  • Previous HR generalist experience
  • Experience of advising on and managing varied HR matters
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively
