Internal Sales Executive
Based in Andover
Salary between £23k - £25k depending on experience
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced internal salesperson to join this small but growing engineering company. This is a great opportunity for someone with some internal sales experience and knowledge of engineering to join this organisation as they progress.
Role responsibilities include:
- Responding to email and telephone inquiries and prepare customer quotations
- Follow up customer quotations and record results
- Maintaining production planning spreadsheet
- Planning and preparing daily delivery runs
- Credit control including chasing customer late payments
- Maintaining quality, training and H&E records.
- Placing and progressing purchase orders for consumable items
- Processing supplier invoices
- Other duties as required
Candidate requirements:
- Previous experience in an internal sales role is essential
- Experience in a Technical / Engineering environment would be advantageous
- CAD or digital solutions experience is desirable but not essential
- Good IT skills including all MS Office packages
- High attention to detail and good organisational skills
- Self-motivated and proactive
- Strong communication skills
