National Training Manager

Field based – HO location is Surrey

Salary between £40k - £45k depending on experience

We’re looking for a charismatic and engaging product training manager who is passionate and inspiring to join our client. Market leaders in the luxury goods / fashion / beauty sector, we’re looking for candidates who are motivated and passionate about the products they’re selling,  who have worked for multi branch / multi store brands and have experience of delivering training at store and head office level. This role involves presenting at conferences, new product launches, and training colleagues at all levels. This is an interesting and exciting role for an inspirational and ambitious training manager.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Adopt a professional manner reflecting company policies and standards at all times; and to act as an ambassador for the brands
  • To maintain close communication with the Marketing team, to ensure understanding of company product positioning and strategies
  • Liaise with Sales and Marketing teams to identify training needs and priorities, and work with Head of Training to ensure these priorities are accounted for in the Training plans and budgets
  • Conduct branch visits in order to follow up from trainings, coach sales people and understand the business from branch viewpoint
  • Specialize in specific products, being the point of contact with the international training team, generating creative ideas and ensuring training is delivered in line with brand specifications
  • Ensure all staff have a good standard of product knowledge, ensuring the training materials provided are understood and used, also ensuring all staff have a good level of sales skills
  • Be proactive and to take the lead on the organisation of specific training courses, employing appropriate communication channels to achieve results and ensure the right people attend.
  • Work with the other members of the training team to generate creative ideas and conduct motivating, relevant and timely training sessions of various sizes, for all staff in a variety of mediums and styles
  • Oversee new starter product training
  • Plan and conduct hype meetings for exclusive new launches and participate in customer events for key accounts
